Playing with the Peace Corps

Our good friend Nicole Lemmo, who works as a Peace Corps volunteer in Thailand, passed our route and plans along to her connections in the South. We were lucky enough to be contacted by Deborah and Julia, who joined us for a night to hang out, which turned into a whole lot more! Check it below:

GREEN RIDERS were greeted in Khlong Thom by Peace Corps volunteers Julia and Deborah

Julia invited us up to the community where she works to see the gorgeous recycled tire playground the families had come together to build in the elementary school. Totally wonderful.

After the playground, we joined Julia at another village in her community to help plant trees in their elementary school’s playground. Amaaaazing day, and amazing to see communities come together for these sorts of projects. We were honored to be invited to join in!
